Choose the room you want.  Go through the purchase process..  Then, go ahead and call the Crowne Plaza at 805.648.2100 and request that the room you have just requested be assigned as part of the Lisonbee Family party.  They'll say something helpful like "we'll see what we can do."

I'm sorry that I didn't get on this soon enough to get condos or beach houses for everyone.  I'm also sorry that the dates are not ideal.  I hope whenever the next reunion ends up being, we can get more ideal digs.  Thanks for being so cooperative all!  Looking forward to some much needed beach time.

Lodging choices

These are the choices based on recent and substantially exhaustive  research. Highest vote getter wins, and votes need to be in by Tues night.  Feel free to browse the hotels' websites and tripadvisor.com for reviews.  after tues., I'll just have to pick one on my own.  Ties are broken by me...because I can.  Here they are:

Hampton Inn Channel Islands:
$149ish / night for two queen bed per room.  A bit more for a king room.
Located right on the marina.  Parking, Internet and breakfast are complimentary.  Pool on site. Park located on lot adjacent to the hotel.  Rated #1 hotel in oxnard/ventura by trip advisor.

Marriott Residence Inn:
$149ish/ night for king bed and sleeper sofa.
Located 10 min from the beach.  Breakfast included.  Parking free.  Pool on site.  On a golf course.  Full kitchen in each room.

Best Western Plus:
$89.00/ night for two queen beds with our group rate (regularly $109)
Three miles from the beach.  Internet, parking and breakfast are complimentary.  Pool on site.  Informal restaurant/ lounge area we can use for gathering during our stay.

Crowne Plaza: if you are a high roller like that
$200/ night for two double beds
Directly on the beach.  $10 more parking per car per night.  $10 more day for Internet.  Breakfast is not included.
